Abstract:
This study focuses on obtaining precise knowledge of reaction cross-sections and excitation function to enhance our understanding of nuclear interactions involving alpha particles. The cross-sections for producing isotopes of Barium, Lanthanum, and Cesium were evaluated using the EXIFON code. Notably, our findings indicate that the production of is not observed within the energy range considered. Additionally, the reaction cross-sections, and excitation functions for the production of , along with their respective threshold energies were obtained. These results contribute to a better understanding of nuclear processes involving alpha particles and the production of specific isotopes.
